Sorry its took me this long to introduce by self, well Im Mike, I run a hard techno night (Panzram Industrial) in the wonderful city of Liverpool, heard about this site from some random guy on dont stay in, passionate about music in it's many forms but hard techno is where I am.
People seem cool on here so Im woundering if there's any level 1 members who know any thing about setting up live links to a gig on the net, basicaly I havnt got a clue on how to go about it, I want to set up a live link to my night, any feed back or advice would be greatly appreciated.

You will need a hardwired internet connection at the venue [wireless isnt good enough in 99% of cases. Also a stream to use [contact myself or Tribaleditor and we can discuss one here] and the relevant software to connect with.

Hi Mike and welcome..
yer suspect is right.. the best way forward is a hardwired internet connection..
but if you can't sort that out it is possible to do it by wifi.

You will need a connection the the club though..
and i fully recommend you going to the club in the week for a test stream and speed test.

I run Club-TED on a wifi connection, but i do have to keep a regular check on the stream to make sure its ok.
The last night i did it was fine all night... so i recommend you have a few people to take it in turns to check on it (and also the shoutbox) lol

There is also the TV stream on offer. This carry's 128k audio in a 200k up stream inc vision.

i would also recommend you use a dedicated lappy for your streaming

Born some time in the late Jurassic I am a vinyl-only dinosaur into all sorts of music, but primarily reggae and I will be airing some selections from the collections very soon on this esteemed medium.

Yes, I will probably talk quite a lot, introducing things, talking about the weather and making lame DJ-type jokes as was customary when I was a youth, so if you fancy some antiquey reggae vibes prented in period style, keep a look out and tune in !-)
